At 11:39AM PDT on 12/23/15, I received a message from these people stating that I failed to mention how my ID is fake/photoshopped. Ha!

They allow you to hide or distort infomration such as your ID # but then accuse you of photoshopping the photo. Can't do one without the other; and, if you put pieces of paper over that information, it will make it appear as if it was photoshopped anyway. So no mater what you are in a losing game.

I refuse to have them have such information as my signature and ID number.

If Sony, banks, Target, the federal OPM office, medical centers/schools like UCLA and USC, TMobile, CVS, the IRS, and Anthem/BlueCross can be hacked, so can measly little old instagc. (I don't want to hear the whole "we have secure servers" schtick -- so did all of the places that were hacked this year alone, so instagc is no different. If the IRS can be hacked, instagc can, period. I agreed to only provide my identification if this information can be blacked out or otherwise obscured.

They agreed. Now they say it was photoshopped. As a result, I have to say that they may want to steal my identity.

Since they want to be the bully in a schoolyard, I will in full disclosure, state that I went off on them in response, mostly to their "you're lucky we even allow you to participate after all this," and meeting them with equal disrespect and disdain as given me, demanding they cancel the account. This is not worth $30.

InstaGC is not worth a turd in a punch bowl, honestly.

Lesson: Don't send them an identification when they request it. No matter what. It's not worth the plethora of aggravation that follows.

Lesson 2: InstaGC sucks! Period.

They do. They are not worth the anxiolysis that comes with you begging and pleading with them.

Lesson 3: They bully people. They try and get all Big-Bad-Wolf-Huff-And-Puff-And-Blow-Your-House-Down. They try to intimidate their users.

Go with some other company like Swagbucks that actually RESPECTS their people. Lesson 4: If they want respect, they better *** well give it. Otherwise, they can kick the dirt they will be burying themselves in with all of these consumer complaints. Lesson 5: If this many people all complain about the same identical things, and the same identical and disparate treatment, it MUST be true.

I have never been one for the mob reasoning; this proves me wrong. #instagcSucks

Lo and behold, yet another customer who has had to prove their identity and address from a frozen account. I provided this to them and never heard back.

Luckily for me, I blacked out my identification number, signature, the ID code number, and substantially blurred my photo. So, with 3,000 points now in limbo, and one offer I am waiting over THREE MONTHS to credit, after having provided them verification of completion (with the usual schtick of "we don't control crediting of offers"). I cannot fathom Google taking over 90 days to verify that it was completed, and as I had provided the confirmation email, screenshots of the app being downloaded and in use, and verification of having been charged for using the app, still no credit. This is a scam.

So many people with the same issues, identical issues in fact, and always having the same problem. I am tired of kissing their *** and "eating 'pie' " to get even an ounce of help from them. I'm reporting them to the BBB. I can't believe they have a positive rating there.

What I want.... my points released immediately so I may obtain the card I worked for.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $30.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Instagc Cons: Hours of waiting for replies, Being locked out.

It wasn't photoshopped. This is your excuse for EVERYTHING.

You even have a clear pattern in your responses: You provide, "What is your username and/or ticket #?" then without a response, within 5 minutes, "We found your account." Every. Single. Time.

The only changes I made to the ID were what YOU said I could.

That I could black out the ID#, signature, photo, etc. Without destroying and otherwise defacing my physical ID card, how the *** do you purport that I block this information out (or, for that matter, in your words "blur the photo" regarding my face on my ID) but not use a photo editor to remove, distort, or block such information? If I would put a piece of paper over them, you'd say I used a photo editor to remove those pieces of information.

So no matter what, the user is wrong with you. To tell me that I am "lucky to be allowed to participate after all this" one is condescending, it is unprofessional, and it is so typical instagc.

It is the way you counter everything. Like a bully in a schoolyard.

Well, I don't need the points this badly.

That is actually shady that a site to earn free gift cards is needing to see a form of identification.

Actually it is shady, because there is no reason to say InstaGC are not going to cheat/fraud. You give them your ID they can do identity theft? By all means though, hand over your passport/driver's license to them so you can get free gift cards that you can get at places like swagbucks without handing it over.

I second this, Instagc you are not an official government organization, technically speaking, only these or places like Hospitals, Schools etc.. only official places ever have the right to ask for ID, Driver's License, Passport and while I'm at it, utility bill (as is stated on your policy as well on your website) in a different section.

You technically have no business doing any of that to "verify" that anyone is committing fraud or not. People are trusting you Instagc a non government organization when they CHOOSE to hand that information over. You have shown people time and time again you are not actually that trustworthy and clearly as you can see on the reviews most of the frauding going on is actually Instagc itself. You cannot hide behind the whole *** excuse of "we use your id to identify fraud".

If people are going to do that, they are going to do it regardless of whether they provide their Id or not ok, there isn't much you really can do about it, that's just life and how it goes, nothing is perfect or without flaws. At the end of the day Instagc you are not some big corporate organization and your losses don't amount to diddly squat. People do not care that you only need "address, name, and birthdate" on the id's... you just don't go there and never should and have no right to.

Honestly, I can't see why anyone would want to create two accounts as it's a pain in the *** half of the time on one account trying to get survey's done there really is no "frauding" that can be done on your website to be brutally honest. So stop hiding behind some *** excuse and stop blaming survey providers, get rid of them if they are that *** and can't respond to points that don't credit or this or that other reason. This is just some new crap that was made up in the past year or so, so that your website could unfairly "claw back" money from people at random.

If it wasn't broken before, leave it alone.... let's go back to what the site used to be and stop holding everything up and making it *** for everyone involved including yourselves.
