It has been resolved and I am very happy with the results. They deducted me 250 points for the wrong information, but now I have access to everything again. I am very happy with it and it has made me a bit giddy because I was starting to think it wouldn't be resolved....

I signed up for Instagc at midnight or so yesterday(technically) I normally use auto-fill in order to speed up registration and accidentally clicked the wrong option and filled out my "Personal Information" with the wrong information (Specifically I used fake information I use normally on websites for gaming because they shouldn't ever need it). Once I earned enough for a 10$ gift card I wanted, it said I didn't have access to the gift card system. After contacting support, and having them tell me to update my information, I saw that it was wrong and immediately corrected it. They responded by badgering me about it being fraud and why it would be like that. I explained in a polite manner the situation and they clearly were not having it. I explained multiple times that it was an accident and that I was sorry and I would try to correct it in any way possible, and they don't seem to care. Usually, the support responded very quickly, but after a few back and forth, they stop answering. This happened both yesterday and today. I have repeatedly asked how I can resolve this issue, and they have ignored it every time I have said it. Eventually, I decided I would just make another account and do it all over again. After I made it, the account locked and I immediately went to the support on my first account and explained that I had created it and why. I also have my chat locked, I don't know why. The customer support has been nothing but rude and unhelpful in my experience.

I admit and completely understand that this whole ordeal is my fault completely. I was just hoping that me fixing everything I had wrong would resolve the issue. I am not providing any ID since I am not taking the chance of identity fraud(they have not asked for this, but I read in others they have before and I do not condone my doing so).

Overall, I believe that Instagc is a good website that probably gives the money it promises, I just have not been so lucky to have received the money I worked for. I hope to get the item I want, and then I will leave the website in order to not stir up any more trouble. I even have told them I will leave after I get the gift card I would like to redeem my points for. If this issue is resolved, I will add onto this post to explain my experience for the rest of this unwanted journey. I did break a few rules and do not blame them if they ban me or delete my account. I actually have considered multiple times of just deleting my account and saying screw it, but there is not an option to(that I know of) delete it. I think you have to contact them in order to, which I really don't want to do. Thanks for reading!

Instant gift card half the stuff doesn't credit it's the worst waste of time ever! They actually accused me of being someone else so they legit didn't have to pay me all this over two dollars. Stay away join swagbucks or perks! They actually don't Make up lies on people to avoid payout and so much easier to make money as well!

InstaGc Habitually Falsely Accuses Users of Fraud

Well, first off, InstaGc did falsely accuse me of fraud and I noticed it was, coincidentally, when I had worked my butt off earning the most money from their site because I wanted extra money for the holiday season. The mods were very rude and unprofessional to me. Over half of their surveys don't pay out, so i'm being lied to and not actually being compensated for my time. I've repeatedly told admins/mods they need a system to report surveys like this or they need to look into their surveys and advertisers, you know, actually do their job. Of course, I have been ignored or talked to in a rude manner.

We as InstaGc users are their clients and we are doing work which they are profiting from and deserve to be compensated when we are told we will be compensated and treated with respect. I guess they are too busy falsely accusing users of fraud and talking down to them to do this job. They certainly profit alot more when you take a survey then you do, and without users they would have nothing.

Also, I was told at the beginning of each survey that my information was private and confidential, a big issue for me because I want to protect myself and my family on the internet especially, so imagine my surprise when this condescending "mod" pulls up my private info from surveys and starts picking out small details, going through each thing to accuse me of "fraud." None of it made any sense to me. In the end, this petty mod stole my 5 dollars and stated how they can't take back the other money I'd "stolen" from their "poor advertisers." You'd think if he were going to steal it he could have at least donated it, as there is a donation option on the website, but no it just had to go back to those "poor" multi-million dollar corporations.

All this because of nitpicking small details for ex. my income did change, I recently was married and so yeah, my name was changed as I took my husband's last name. I tried to explain these things to him, but he didn't want to listen. All common sense and logic, and especially respect, seems to evade these people when it comes to dealing with their clients who aren't advertisers I guess. And they did this because they want an excuse to get all the compensation from their advertisers and steal your personal info to profit from without giving you your measly change for it. I tried to explain these things to him, but he didn't want to listen. You can't reason with the greedy. After he took my money, he tried to blackmail me saying if I don't leave a negative review I can have the "privilege" of using their services again. To which I said no. I need to be honest with people and tell them the truth about this site so they aren't wasting their time ending up disappointed when they work for little to no compensation just to get a little money toward holidays or groceries. It isn't right. And these mods obviously aren't trained to do their job and don't know how to act in a professional way. As a company, this would embarrass me.

Oh, and this company tries to justify themselves along the lines of "everyone who posts a negative review of us must be guilty of fraud." Yeah, the site is actually one of the lower rated pay for survey/offer sites out there, and for a reason. It is because people have spoken and shared their honest experience of the company, not because they have committed "fraud." Also, this is a company known for censoring negative reviews from social media sites, etc. If you want to run a legitimate company and improve your reputation, my advice is to actually try being professional.

InstaGC trys to find ONE thing to claim fraudulent activity and then revokes your points. Trash, scammy company. I would stay away from them if I were you guys.

Yes I've had good times with them, but in reality they really do suck!!!!

Horrible points for cash site

This company has the worst business practices when it comes to points for cash sites. They will give some people money, but for most they will claim that you violated their terms and conditions by providing fraudulent information.

When you question them about it they will totally ignore you. If you persist they will tell you some line about your name and address not being real and demand personal information to prove that you are real. I am on three other points to cash websites, none of them have ever had an issue with my name or address.

Also don't trust the reviews and comments you see out there, they sensor their social media to delete anything that isn't negative, which explains why there is so little activity on sites like facebook.

Want to post an issue or concern? Don't bother they will delete it and block you.

It's to be expected though, their customer service is pretty much zero. If you love being treated rudely and spoken down to, this is the company for you.

A key with testing these places is do not get too much work before trying to collect!

I was asked for a ton of information which I provided until they wanted a copy of my drivers license! I felt that was asking to much!

Basically they asked until they found one I wouldn't provide I don't see how that's okay, feels like just an excuse to not let me access my account. They could do a lot to me holding onto that much personal information of mine its really uncomfortable...

I don't even know who this person is. I would suggest swagbucks it takes a long time to get you giftcard, but they dont beat around the bush and ask you about you info with copies of it to boot.

ID verification is used to validate and verify the information a member has already provided to us (name, address, birthdate). No additional information is requested.

Generally those who can't provide it don't because they know their info won't match.

Regardless, we always give members a second chance. Members can go to Swagbucks if they want but they will earn less and get paid slower.

Every time I try to redeem something always goes wrong. And I take an hour long survey for points just to be locked out of my account for no reason.

So then I create another account and now my phone number is invalid?

It's like they just make up reasons not to redeem rewards?? I also googled how to delete my account and I find nothing but this site!

Points are frozen for fraud prevention reasons. Creating another account is a violation of our Terms of Service. Submit a support ticket to have account deleted.

This is a dead beat company that finds ways to *** over from paying you. My recommendation is to never have over 1.00 in your account before cashing out.

They'll still probably *** over.

If it passes the five dollar mark, watch out.

It seems their chat room cronies, need to get paid first and they get an edge by making sure new users don't get paid without with their mods.

I worked and worked watched videos, listened to the radio, filled out surveys got to a 1.20 . then was refused payment.

Then they asked for copies of My ID. Well guess how ID theft happens duh! Others may be keen on this site ,but I rather have My dollar. Pure thievery , all I wanted was My dollar and they wouldn't give it to me.

What do they need ID for? All that info credit cards and such? Hmmmmm, was are they not flagged as sellers of this information?

If My info ends up stolen and abused by these guys I am gonna write about it everywhere! Where is My money?

Actually I had this same problem except I have $70 on the Frozen area. And they dont want to release it talking about well u need to provide ur ID.

And as u said ID theft DOES happen no one just GIVES out their ID's just for 70$ compared to a full time job - a LEGIT job. U see what im saying, for now my account is locked so Im not even worried about it anymore.

Funny how I am a member for 3+ years and never experienced any issues.....But then again, I'm following the rules and enjoying my "free" money. I helped my mom with her eye cataract surgery, her dentures, some bills, many xmas gifts...Yeah, this site definitely is a scam :))))

The admin ?owner of the site is totally biased against any member that has a disagreement with him. Ask him why you are having a problem with the site and you are instantly banned with no recourse, They, the site refuses to pay most members and when to contact to complain to them about not paying they try to give you excuses that you were cheating them. Just a case of a scam site not wanting to pay the members who do hard work for them. Stay as far away from this site as possible. If you must remember buyer beware

They cheat you out of your reward

Similarly to other complaints, these guys accused me of fraud based on a simple misunderstanding. I explained and explained but the guy isn't ready to understand.

I dedicated so many hours of effort into earning 5000 points to get a gift card I could use to buy something I had waited for a long time. These guys sure know how to ruin someones Christmas. The coincidentally, when the problem occurred my account wasn't locked.

So I wasn't aware that there was a problem, I continued taking surveys to reach my goal and when I went to redeem, it said my account is locked and I couldn't even use the chat. But before I went to redeem I could use the chat and everything was fine, even though the thing they are accusing me of happened way before I went to redeem the reward, they only lock my account right when I went to redeem.

The issue of being blocked and not being able to chat happened to me too, there was a recent site glitch that did that, but I submitted a ticket and it was fixed in 5 minutes. You must be one impatient person if you had to come here to fill this out instead of send a support ticket in to be looked at. I have earned over $2,000 on this site, it is no scam.

It was not a site glitch. My chat was blocked for days and I did submit many support tickets.

Do not show your ignorance and open your mouth without the full knowledge of my situation. I came here to post another update to say that the issue was resolved TODAY. Also, please tell me where I can find the word "scam" in my post? I love the idea and I love the website, I had my misfortunes with the support staff and they have resolved it.

I can *** well tell you that I submitted many support tickets before coming here to post a review. I will not say I was wrong in what I posted because I am not, I will however say that the support staff in the end DID resolve the issue and for that they have retained me as a customer. I will continue using the site because it is legit, I have never said anything against the legitimacy of the site.

like what a typo .. no it had to be much more than that.

Instagc is a BBB A= rated business , you do not get that actin in the manner you describe. They do NOT randomly block people with no reason.

What they do is run a business.

If you were blocked there was a reason whether intentional or otherwise. Support in Instagc is stellar and would have done whatever was needed had a legitimate reason and solution been available , and the user had been willing to legitimately cooperate.

"No it had to be much more than that", actually it wasn't, a typo? no, it was a misunderstanding caused by my 15 years old brother.

I would suggest you to not tell me about them running a business either because I am a MBA student at Duke University, I know more about business than you probably will in your life. You might have had a stellar experience with support, but not everyone is you Mr. Luck Go Happy. I am unlucky.

I was cooperating and answering every questions thrown at me.

So I came here to post my review based on the experience I had. They solved my problem and me and the website settled our differences.

Bait and swtich.

You may be able to cash your first dollar gift card, fast. But eventually, when it gets over five dollars they will likely accuse you of fraud and not pay you want they owe you. They'll demand outrageously personal information, hoping you'll go away and they can keep what you earned. And the support people there are disgustingly rude. They first bug you with why you're on the site, and I guess that's how they pick their victim. (So if you ever get a survey for 5 points on why you chose their site, don't respond.) Do no invest your time in this site, learn from our mistakes. They will *** over based on my personal experience and reading other reviews. I wish I read the reviews earlier.

I dedicated so many hours of effort into earning points I am unemployed and rely on sites like this to get by and i am on 4 sites and NONE of them have EVER given me issues on prize redemption nor locked down my points for no reason i am prepared for war metaphorically because from the reviews i have read it seems they will ban me and steal my 861 points and accuse me of fraud i worked HARD for those points and i had planned to purchase something off amazon tonight which now the cheapest item has sold which is a big deal to me because of amazons SOARING prices.

If this happens bad reviews will be coming out of my butt everywhere i can get them even in fliers around town and i will be making phone calls specially to the BBB and my bank if my bank info is still on there and they freeze my account i'm livid 1 minute everything is fine the next my account is under review with no prior warning this all started when i reported a offer that remotely shut down my computer apparently they cant take any type of criticism what so ever when the problem occurred my account wasn't locked.

They do not want anyone to say in chat that they had an issue with an offer that affected their computers. That is why they tell us to use Sandboxie or Shadow Defender, so they can hide behind those products and put the blame on the members.

They advise us to turn off our AVs, our pop up blockers and allow third party cookies to make money on their site.

I never once turned off my AV and it saved me from hundreds of malicious downloads and web pages.

They also tell us to use fresh emails. Doing this can cause 20-30 emails if you are there for a good period of time.

I believe they say that so we dont remember where to look for confirmation when we are asking for our points and have to show proof.

There is not much more I can say about this company. They truly enjoy bullying people.

Hi! Support ticket #92226 I have redeemed InstaGC points through Paypal four times till now- $1, $1.60, $9.20, $5.50. I got them into my Paypal account but something went wrong and the screen froze and the next thing I know is all the four deposits got refunded to you. So, I request you to transfer the amounts once again into my Paypal account. I tried contacting the Support of InstaGC regarding it but it's been three days and they have not responded, which is unusually long. I'm getting really anxious. Please send the amounts once again into my Paypal account. Thank you

I have only been using InstaGC for a few days, so I am still learning my way around. I was not using the search function correctly and was locked out of the search function.

I did unknowingly break the rules, so it was completely my fault. I put in a support ticket for clarification. I was not rude at all, but the reply that I got back from support was horrible. They actually MOCKED me.

I apologized for my misunderstanding of the rules and promised it would not happen again. The mistake WAS my fault, but there was absolutely no cause for rudeness, and that leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. I was not demanding my access back nor was I upset or rude to the employee, and I did apologize.

I do like the site, especially the tasks, but I can do these same tasks on Swagbucks, and they are much more pleasant.

So I cashed out my points with no problems whatsoever and will be on my way. Shame.

I incurred a fee for an offer I did in order to receive 500 points. Not only did I NOT receive the 500 points, I was also charged over $100 for this offer. The offer was stated as a "7 day free trial offer" on the site and on the website when you clicked. Apparently, further passed all the big words about the offer, it stated I would be charged the yearly fee! Some free trial! I did a quick google search and found this website had settled a class action lawsuit for this exact same issue! When I contacted support to tell them they had a deceptive offer with a less than scrupulous company, I received many rude and unhelpful responses. I was blamed for not reading the hidden language of the offer. I was told many members had completed the offer, but no one else had an issue! I informed them that after spending *five minutes* on their chat a member stated they had also had the EXACT same issue. After FIVE MINUTES I found another member with the same story! FANCY THAT! I was told in response that if it was easier for me they could hide all trial offers from my view, so I didn't have the same issues in the future. How condescending and unfriendly can you be? There are many reward sites out there with friendly customer service that don't do business with companies that are trying to scam you. I will give InstaGC a second chance, but not quite sure this is the website I am looking to spend my time earning rewards! In short, be careful not to have a problem when earning rewards on InstaGC. They will not be helpful - only nasty!

Let's break this down .. FIRST I can guarantee support was not rude or nasty ..

they are very helpful and try to accommodate whenever possible . Second .. it is not instagc, their support , or staffs job to make sure you DO read the TOS of the offers . That offer was quite clear what would be charged , not saying i agree with the OFFERS practice but that is not within the sites control .

What is in their control is removing the offer which as near as i can tell they have done .

The fact that you found another member with the issue is again NO reflection on the site I am sure several people did the offer and could have had the same issues again all of which would have been avoided READING the offer TOS

I am sorry you had a bad experience with a great site but taking out frustrations of a bad offer on the site itself is unhelpful , and inaccurate .

Scammed because of age

I am a 13 and I got scammed. I saved up for over a week and referred 2 friends. I was so happy when I got 100 points for amazon. Then they locked up my account for no reason. I asked why and they said that there was a username similar to mine. Then they asked for an ID but since I am 13 I don't have one. They just ignored me. I was so happy but now it is just sad. I am a happy instagc-er for years. Never had an issue.

Cashed out gift cards, checks, and recently direct deposit. Support system replies sometimes within minutes! Awesome moderators, awesome admin. For real, the best site!

But you need to follow the rules.....which apparently you did not. Hope you learned something from it.

They do NOT state any of the rues like one must be have ID. Thay wait till one gets credits to be paid then They hit You with it.

Laptop was riddled with spyware and trojans after being on this site

when i told instagc.com last yr there was a offer on the site that caused my computer blue screen they banned me in stead of trying to fix it i am glad i'm banned one day this site could end up sued for seriously messing up someones computer when it happens i will laugh after getting banned from instagc.com when i finally bought internet security which i hadnt had in awhile for my laptop it found over 200 spyware and trojan viruses all of which im sure came from this site since it made my laptop act funny i have been on other survey sites that aren't so rude and don't harass me for dumb reasons the mods are rude and self righteous

You are banned from the entire site? Or just chat?

And yeah, I never turn my antivirus or pop up blocker off. There are no offers that give enough points to risk a virus or malware.

I have never had ANY issues with InstaGC in the three years I have been a member. I have ALWAYS had timely payouts, there are TONS of offers available, via offer walls and the main InstaGC wall. They offer some of the highest offer rates around! The Mods and Admin are helpful and honest, and even non-staff will help out new members with questions they may have. Just all around a GREAT site! Definitely NOT a scam site, or scam offers. Nothing at ALL on this site is a scam by any means. Anyone who calls it a scam site did something wrong!

I agree that the site is awesome but humans are not infalliable. You are going out on a thin limb when saying anyone who says the site is a scam did something wrong.

I think it would behoove you to 1. dont speak on issues you arent fully aware of or 2.

just stay quiet. You have no right to make any judgements about me or any other person who chose to come here and complain.

It has nothing to do with the infallibility of humans. It has to do with the fact that I know exactly how the backend on these types of sites work, and those who yell "scam" did something wrong or they wouldn't have an issue in the first place.

Care to elaborate why you think it's a scam?

Seeing as how YOU failed to provide exact information as to why, how can you have the right to tell someone else that they should keep quiet? I have just as much right to anyone else here to free speech, whether that be praise or or defense of a site that has earned me *** good money.

Umm...when did I say it was a scam? Honestly, bring out the Hooked on Phonics and try again.

I said the site is awesome but humans are not infalliable. I told you to keep quiet because you made the general accustation that all who yell scam have in some way done something wrong. This generalization makes YOU wrong. I dont care what you know or what you think you know.

What I know is nothing is perfect and mistakes do happen. I dont appreciate you judging me or anyone else on this site who has made a complaint.
